Using Learner Context In The BCBA Assistant

How the selected learner controls learner-specific BCBA Assistant answers and tool calls.

Selecting a learner

Each BCBA Assistant thread has its own selected learner. Admins can search learners in the thread and choose the right learner before asking learner-specific questions.

Why selection matters

When a learner is selected, the assistant uses that learner context for learner-specific tools such as recent session lookup, learner programmes, and target drafting context.

If no learner is selected

If the conversation needs learner-specific context and no learner is selected, the assistant is designed to ask the user to choose a learner in the thread selector.

Changing context

Admins can switch or clear the selected learner at thread level when they want the assistant to focus on a different learner.
