AB2 Learning Ltd ("AB2", "we", "our", "us") provides the AB2 Learning website and software platform. This notice explains how we handle personal data when you visit our website, contact us, create an account, or use the platform.
Who this notice covers
This notice applies to website visitors, prospective customers, account users, and customer contacts. Where a clinic, school, or other organisation uses AB2 to manage learner or staff records, that organisation is usually the data controller and AB2 acts as its processor.
What we collect
- Contact and account details, such as name, work email, organisation, role, and login data.
- Service data entered by customers, such as learner, staff, scheduling, session, reporting, and billing records.
- Technical data, such as IP address, browser/device information, authentication cookies, and service logs.
- Billing data needed to manage subscriptions and payments. Card payments are handled by Stripe and we do not store full card numbers.
- Where AI features are used, the relevant prompt and service context needed to generate the response.
How we use personal data
- To provide, secure, and support the website and platform.
- To create and manage accounts, permissions, subscriptions, and invoices.
- To respond to enquiries and customer support requests.
- To improve the performance, reliability, and usability of our services.
- To comply with legal obligations and protect our rights, users, and systems.
How we share data
We share personal data only where needed to run the service, including with infrastructure and authentication providers, payment processors such as Stripe, and AI providers such as OpenAI where AI features are used. We may also share data where required by law or to protect the security of the service. We do not sell personal data or use it for third-party advertising.
International transfers
Some of our service providers may process data outside the UK. Where that happens, we use appropriate contractual and operational safeguards.
Retention and security
We keep personal data only for as long as needed for the purposes above, including legal, contractual, security, and backup requirements. We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, but no system can be guaranteed completely secure.

AB2 is a business tool and is not intended for direct use by children. Where customers use AB2 to store learner information, they are responsible for ensuring they have a valid legal basis and any required notices or consents.
