Team Management
The Team Management page is the admin workspace for inviting staff, reviewing current team members, opening staff profiles, and using team-member sign-in where supported.
Who can use this page
Only admins can access Team Management. Supervisors and therapists are managed from this page, but they do not use it to administer the team.
What’s on the Team Management page
The page is split into three main sections:
- Invite a team member
- Members
- Pending invites
The Invite section is where admins create new staff invitations. The Members table is where admins review active staff, open editable staff profiles, check pay setup, and use SSO for eligible team members. The Pending invites table shows invitations that have been created but not yet accepted.
How the invite system works
To invite someone, the admin enters an email address and selects a role. The current implementation only allows invites for Therapist and Supervisor roles.
If the email sends successfully, the page confirms that the invite was created and sent.
If email delivery fails, the invite is still created. In that case, the Team Management page shows a fallback invite link that the admin can share manually. The invited person can use that link to sign up or log in, and the app will automatically claim the pending invitation for them.
How the Members section works
The Members table shows the current organisation team, including:
- Name
- Role
- Phone
- Address
- Pay rate
- Next-month forecast
- Joined date
- SSO
Supervisor and therapist names link to their Team Member Overview page, where admins can view and edit staff details. Pay-managed roles also expose pay-rate and invoice-related workflows.
How SSO works on this page
The SSO column provides a Sign in action for supervisors and therapists only. Admin accounts do not get this action from the Team Management table.
When an admin uses Sign in, the system generates a secure login for that team member and redirects into the app dashboard as that user. This is intended for quick access and troubleshooting, without needing the team member’s password.
SSO is only available when:
- The current user is an admin
- The selected team member belongs to the same organisation
- The target member is a supervisor or therapist
- The target member has a valid email address
If any of those checks fail, the page returns an error instead of creating the sign-in link.
Summary
Use Team Management to invite supervisors and therapists, monitor pending invites, open staff records, and sign in as eligible team members via SSO. The page is designed to keep team setup and day-to-day staff administration in one place for admins.
