Creating Your Organisation

What a brand-new account sees first and how onboarding creates the organisation and admin membership.

When do you see onboarding?

If you have signed in but do not yet have an organisation membership, the app sends you to Onboarding.

What onboarding does

Onboarding asks for one thing: your organisation name. When you submit it, the app creates a starter organisation and gives you the first admin membership for that organisation.

What happens next?

After the organisation is created successfully, the app redirects you to the Dashboard with a welcome state so you can continue setup.

Why this matters

You cannot use the app until you belong to an organisation. Onboarding is the first step that connects your account to an organisation workspace.
