Managing Learner Contacts

How learner contacts work, which contact types are supported, and who can add or delete them.

Who can manage contacts?

Admins and supervisors can add and delete learner contacts. Other roles have read-only access.

Available contact types

  • Parent
  • Guardian
  • Healthcare Provider
  • School Contact
  • Other

How to add a contact

  1. Open the learner.
  2. Go to Contacts.
  3. Select a contact type and enter the contact's full name.
  4. Optionally add relationship, email, phone, address, and notes.
  5. Click Add contact.

The only required field besides the type is the contact's full name.

How contacts are used

Contacts give your team a shared place to store key parent, guardian, school, or provider details for the learner. The page is operational rather than automated, so it stores reference information instead of driving notifications.
